I was on wellbutrin …
I was on wellbutrin for depression . I was also a binge eater. The wellbutrin put a halt a halt o my binge eating eating , lost about 15 pounds and my moos stabilized as well. Personally it worked for me with no bad side affects. I didn’t need it for smoking as I have never smoked..

@linksysrouted Every person on the face of this earth feels anxiety when in a social setting. Some handle it better than others. That is part of a person’s personality. That is what makes EVERY person unique.

Psychiatrists are trying to take away that uniqueness. You don’t see that as a problem? You would want ALL people acting the same?

THAT is the true sickness.

If the person …
If the person chooses to try medication, that is their choice. For many people, it’s a huge help. For others, it’s not. It’s a risk like most anything else in life. Some people benefit from therapy such as CBT, others benefit from medication or a mix of medication and therapy. Whatever works. Everyone is unique.

But to tell the person they do not have a disorder when their lives are in shambles and they’ve tried and tried to just live, that is very, very cruel.

Fact is that most of these drugs are untested and the psychiatrists who prescribe them aren’t even sure. This is experimentation. I refer to the judge’s comments on Conrad Murray’s sentencing. He said whether a person agrees or not, does not give that doctor the right to experiment on a patient. It is serious neglect and MJ was not in a position to make any decision. Therefore the more doctors are prosecuted for this misconduct the better!
